How to Create Your First Sequence Campaign in Quicklead

Step 1: Open Campaigns

  • From the sidebar, go to the Campaigns screen.

  • In the top-right corner, click on Create Campaigns.

Step 2: Select Sequence Campaign

  • Click on Sequence to create a sequence campaign.
  • Sequence campaigns are the most powerful option for outreach in Quicklead.

Step 3: Name Your Campaign

  • Enter a campaign name.
  • Click Next.

Step 4: Choose a Template

  • A popup will open with two options:
  • Predefined Templates
  • Previous Sequences

Predefined Templates

  • Contains standard, ready-to-use sequence templates.
  • Selecting one will automatically create the entire sequence flow for you.

Previous Sequences

  • Contains sequences you previously created.
  • You can reuse any of them as a template.

  • Select the first template from Predefined Templates (as highlighted).
  • Click to proceed.

Understanding the Sequence Flow

Once selected, Quicklead automatically builds the full sequence graph.

Here’s what the default sequence does, step by step:

  • Visit Profile
    • Opens the LinkedIn profile (view only).
  • Wait 1 Day
    • Gives the user time to notice the profile visit notification.
  • Follow Profile
  • Wait 1 Day
    • Allows time for the follow notification.
  • Like Post
    • Likes the user’s most recent post.
    • If no post exists, this step is skipped for that user.
  • Wait 1 Day
  • Send Invitation (Connection Request)
    • Sends a connection request with a customized note.
    • This 3-day warm-up significantly increases acceptance rates.
  • Wait for Invitation Response

Invitation Outcome Paths

After the invitation step, the sequence splits into two paths:

  • Left Path (Accepted)
    • If the invitation is accepted:
      • Waits 5 minutes
      • Sends the first message
      • Ends the sequence (or continues if more steps are added)
  • Right Path (Not Accepted)
    • If the invitation is not accepted within 15 days:
      • The request is withdrawn

Adding Contacts to the Sequence

Step 5: Add Contacts to First Step

  • Click the Plus (+) icon before the Visit Profile step.

  • Choose Contacts and click Next.

Step 6: Select Contact List

  • Select the existing list you created while importing contacts.

  • Click Select All Contacts.

  • Click Next, then OK, got it.

Configuring Invitation Note

  • Click the Plus (+) icon next to the Invitation step.
  • If you have a LinkedIn Premium account, you can add a note with the invitation.
  • Otherwise, the invitation will be sent without a note.

Configuring Messages

Step 7: Add First Message

  • Click the Plus (+) icon next to the Send Message step.

  • A popup will open to configure the message.

Message Options

There are two message fields:

  1. Main Message (optional)
  2. Fallback Message (mandatory)

Why two messages?

  • The Main Message supports multiple dynamic labels (placeholders).
  • These placeholders are automatically replaced with contact details at send time.

Example placeholders:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Company
  • Job Title
  • etc.
  • The Fallback Message only supports First Name and Last Name.

How it works:

  • Quicklead tries to send the Main Message first.
  • If any placeholder value is missing, the Main Message is skipped.
  • The Fallback Message is sent instead.
  • This ensures no partial or broken messages are sent.

You can also attach a file to the message if needed.

  • Click Add to save the message.

Finalizing the Campaign

  • Once all steps are configured, the sequence will show green checkmarks for each step.
  • Click Next to create the campaign.

Starting the Campaign

  • When started, Quicklead will:
    • Pick contacts one by one
    • Execute each step in sequence
    • Automatically handle waits, branching, and conditions

🎉 That’s it!

Your first sequence campaign is now ready to run.
